Performing at The Composers Room

We love supporting live music and new talent, and we’re always looking for incredible performers to join our lineup on one of our two stages — the Tavern Stage and the Showlounge.

Tavern Stage:
We currently have openings on Friday nights and select Saturdays for happy hour shows. These sets are paid hourly, but please note that bookings depend on your ability to draw an audience. To help ensure a great experience for both you and our guests, we do not rebook shows that have fewer than 10 attendees per set. We encourage performers to promote their appearance in advance and bring along their fans and friends — the more energy in the room, the better!

Showlounge:
Our Showlounge books up to three months in advance, with typical openings on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as early Sunday evenings. Shows run approximately 90 minutes and include full technical support from our in-house team.

For first-time, ticketed shows, we operate solely on a ticket split arrangement. We kindly encourage all new acts to promote actively to ensure a strong turnout that covers your costs and supports future bookings.

For “no cover” shows on weekends, we do require a minimum of 50 guests in attendance to issue performer pay. Guarantees are tiered based on attendance, with increases at 75 and 100 guests (the Showlounge seats up to 150 with 120 being optimal). Additionally, for all no-cover performances, we request that each guest meet a $25 food and beverage minimum. If by 3 days before showtime, there are not 50 RSVPS’s, we reserve the right to cancel and replace the show. 

If you’re still building your audience, the Tavern Stage may be a great starting point, offering an hourly rate and a more casual environment to grow your following. Once your first show proves successful for everyone, we’re happy to discuss adjusted terms for future performances.

For those who wish to rent the Showlounge and keep 100% of ticket sales (less ticketing platform fees), the weekend rental rate  $1,500-$3000 based on customer spend during your event.
